Cecile Richards is the president of the Planned Parenthood Action Fund and the Planned Parenthood Federation of America. She has been there since 2006. Ms. Richards is an avid advocate for reproductive health and rights and has been active in the political field for much of her adult life. She also oversees Planned Parenthood’s PAC. Prior to her involvement with Planned Parenthood, she worked for Democratic House Speaker Nancy Pelosi. Ms. Richards has extensive experience in the field of reproduction and politics. She actively partakes in it and is aware of current legislation and policy. Despite her staunch pro-choice stance, she is perhaps the epitome of that movement and would be an excellent source.
